Arrow Special Parts has always been distinguishing itself within the exhaust industry for two wheels vehicles for its innovative capabilities and the manufacturing care of its product range, allowing the company to offer to the motorcycle riders the technology directly derived from the experience gained side by side with some of the most prestigious teams in World GP 500 and World Superbike. This is the same philosophy which has been inspiring a new project for the development of an exhaust system equipped with a new silencer called Race-Tech. Its appealing design has been studied with the purpose to reduce the dimensions without compromising the inner volume and the capability to limit the noise level. The innovative profile of the Race-Tech is considerably smaller than the traditional silencer shape, thus allowing a noticeable weight reduction. The assembly procedure of the silencers is done on a jig using T.I.G. and M.I.G. welding techniques, and are checked carefully for the optimization of gas flow. An additional feature of the race tech silencer is the shape of the rear end-cap which has been studied to extend the output of the gas exhaust, thus allowing the inconvenience of the counter-pressure. The range of the Race-Tech silencers include applications for latest sport-bikes models and is available with carbon fiber or titanium shell. All the Race-Tech silencers can be fitted to the stainless steel collector pipes kit developed by the Arrow R&D technicians. The final result is a full exhaust system which combine the advantage of each single component: the conical and crossing-over of the primary collector pipes, the research for the proper positioning of the compensation chambers having individual design and diameter for each single exhaust model, the lightness and quietness of the new race tech silencer. These are the new standards in terms of quality and performance that Arrow Special Parts has set up in order to offer a product without compromise.
The CX Carby embodies all the experience that Arrow has gained in the world of competitive racing. This can be seen in the elliptical cross-section of the main body, which significantly minimizes the lateral dimensions. It is made of stainless steel using only hand workmanship processes, while the body is made of 100% carbon. In order to achieve maximum quality and performance levels, the couplings between the different elements are checked accurately and optimized to achieve uniform gas flow. The assemblies are made with templates using manual TIG and MIG welding processes, whereas the bushings that couple the cylinder are made of solid machined metal. These exhausts are available either as a muffler that can be adapted to the original manifold or as a complete kit. The mounting device can be selected in either the high- or low-position version. Improved performance can also be obtained simply by replacing only the end section, while also achieving a significant decrease in weight, and these features are enhanced even further by replacing the entire exhaust system. |
The same technology used to develop the Titanium Pro-Racing silencers range is available also in the road legal version to enjoy the exclusivity and high performance level in full compliance with the latest European Community road regulations. The Racing and the Road Approved silencers range share the same manufacturing procedures using top quality titanium and stainless steel assembled together using only T.I.G. welding technique. However, the street legal version reduce drastically the sound emission through the use of an innovative inner silencer design, while maintaining the performance gain within the limits allowed by the European regulations. Each silencer is supplied with a copy of certification filed at the Ministry of Transportation. The CX Titanium Road Approved silencers are available to fit the stock collectors as well as the ARROW collectors in the high and low version, thus allowing a full enjoyment of the motorcycle on the road and on the race track |
